Visited Sea World today

Made a last minute trip to Orlando to use our Seaworld fun cards before they expire. Our January 2014 trip was a complete rain out.

SHE, DS 2.5 and I hopped in the car late yesterday and arrived around 11:30 last night. Slept in and got to Seaworld around 11 today. Crowds were very light. The children's area only had a line do one ride. DS walked right on to all of the other rides. He and DH were the only riders on the tea cup style ride.

We saw three shows today- One Ocean (whales), the cirque style show and Blue Horizons (dolphins, birds and acrobatics). All three of is were in agreement that the whale show was just so-so. DS got bored. He LOVED the other two shows.

Antarctica was fun. We did the mild version, but I think DS could have handled the wild version after watching the car in front of us. This was the only ride with a wait. We didn't have to wait because we had a one time Quick Que card. We have the quick que card because we are staying at a Seaworld partner hotel.

I must say that the park employees were much friendlier than our January trip. We debated coming back because our experience was so bad in January. I am glad we made the return trip!

One more note- Christmas decorations are up.

Glad to hear this visit was more enjoyable. If you ever get a chance, try and visit again during the Christmas season. If you liked the decorations, you should see them at night. The Christmas shows are a great part of the Christmas celebration too.

I was there on the 11th. Sorry you didn't go see Pet's Ahoy. It's one of our favorites! I also love the Clyde and Seamore shows. Really missed them this time. The Shamu show was much more exciting when the trainers used to be in the water with the whales. But I understand the safety of the trainers.

The Penguin experience kept shutting down so we didn't get to ride it. :-(
