Visa SPD & room only for beginning of 2015 are out!

BAH. On the phone now and they have nothing available at POR for our dates. :( :( No moderates at all, actually. Just AOA and BLT.

Guess I'll try back Thursday a.m. and see if they release any more rooms???

ETA: Took the RO discount on our POFQ room because that's all there was available. Saved a whopping $146. :( But any discount is a good discount! Will try again on Thursday.

YAY!!! Called back this afternoon and got the nicest, most personable CM on the phone. Last night, NOTHING at POR was available. This afternoon, my family & my parents both got garden view rooms at POR with dining plan.

:banana::banana:

Old reservation:
POFQ standard room, 6 day MYW tickets for 2 adults, 1 child, 2 infants
Dining Plan
$3532.32

New reservation:
POR garden view room, 6 day MYW tickets for 2 adults, 1 child, 2 infants
Dining Plan
$3020.XX (sorry, forget and haven't gotten our confirmation yet)

We've never stayed at POR before and I'm a bit nervous of the size of the resort & busing, but you never know until you try it! :)

We are staying Dec 14th. - Dec 20th CSR, King room, 6 day hoppers with deluxe dining.
We booked abounce back offer last Dec then when free dining came out switched to that offer & saved $.
Decided to call about the Visa play, stay & dine offer to see if it would save us any more. Didn't save much but it did take $32 more off our already discounted pkg. Every little bit helps out.

I am having no luck with s/p/d. I was looking for a 7 day/6 night stay checking in 3/7/15. All Star Movies, base room, non hopper and regular dinning. Savings of $40??? Then I called back because it just didn't seem right, so I could save $120 if I switched it to All Star Sports. This is not really the savings I was looking for. My best estimates (based on the info that adults pay child prices for tickets and food) were that I would save $530 with regular dinning or $350 with QS dinning... nope. So I ran the numbers and I could save about $150 on a room only discount and the just pay OOP for food. Is it me or the CM? Both of them were nice but they didn't seem to know that much about what the actual discount was. Any thoughts? :confused3 Thanks

If your unsure call and ask them to apply code P423Y which is for s/p/d.

There are different codes for different aspects of the deal. They won't just apply a code because someone asks, and if they tried and it's for the wrong components it will come back with no availability.

Waiting to book GP tomorrow...my question is, if there are any 'discounts' on upgrading the package to Deluxe DDP? Im trying to calculate prices in my head and dont know what rate they are offering the dining plan for as well as adult tickets. Any help is appreciated!

Unfortunately there are no discounts on upgrading the dining plan.

I don't know if this will help......like many I can't figure out exactly what the s/p/d discount is lol. But, we used it and upgraded from regular DP to deluxe, and according to the CM, the upgrade for 2 adults for 4 nights, was $391. I wasn't sure if it was the difference between the kids regular DP price and the adult deluxe price or what. I first asked the CM for the per day charge to upgrade which he said he couldn't give me as they don't break it down that way; so he gave me the overall charge for the whole stay.

If anyone out there thinks this doesn't sound right, please let me know!

Sounds about right. The dining plan is about $60 and deluxe is about $106. The difference is about $50 per night, per adult.

Hi! I called the other day to combine 2 existing reservations to 1 Visa offer reservation. The CM said it was anyway. But nowhere on my confirmation does it say Visa offer. I can't tell if I got the right price coz there are no rooms available for all my dates anymore. So my question is: if you booked with the Visa promo, does your email or online info indicate that anywhere? Thanks!

My email confirmation doesn't mention the offer. It just says 'magic your way package plus dining'.

Thanks! We are booked in a deluxe club level room & few of my dates are available with the discount online. I wasn't sure if I should call & confirm my discount, since that room cost is crazy. Guess I don't have to. :)

Our AAA agent called and got room only discount applied at POFQ. Required an upgrade from our booked Garden View from to a River View and since we're only staying 3 nights, we only saved $50, but still $50 more we can spend on Disney stiff instead of on the room.

Well, that didn't last long. AAA called us back, and we could upgrade to WL with room only discount, for less than $400, vs the price we were paying for POFQ, so we did. Not saving any money, but upgrading to our first Deluxe resort after years at POFQ.

I got this in my email yesterday I think... its too soon for me, but maybe someone else can use it...

The last I knew AAA was losing their ability to give special member discounts... they can still book like a regular travel agency, but won't have any specials for their members.

Just an FYI: That is a PIN code. Only you can use it. The booking party has to match your name & address. I would edit your post to remove the PIN, as I think any posts that are not a public code can be removed by the moderators.

Nice of you to try & share with other Dissers tho! :goodvibes

We just added the s/p/d deal to our package and saved almost $800!!!
We are at CSR, 2 adults, 2 children, with 6 day park hoppers and regular dining plan from Feb 2-Feb 9

Yes, unfortunately AAA didn't reach an agreement with Disney, however they can still book regular. Our agent has been our agent for many years, and honestly even though we don't "need" her to book, the ONLY reason we do, is for deals like this.

While I was at work, she was on the phone for several hours trying to get through to someone at Disney to get the promotion applied to our trip. I would have absolutely NO problem booking a trip myself, my wife and I are great at planning Disney Vacations, but, I have no time to be on the phone all day waiting to get through to someone, and I can't afford to take time off just for something like this.

I trust her, she does what we ask of her implicitly, and she has proved herself invaluable to us many times over. When my daughter had emergency surgery a week before we were to leave for Disney in 2012, she got Disney to refund our fully paid for trip with no cancellation fee. I think this is the sixth trip she's helped with.
