Visa debit cards & Disney gift cards

We recieved a few Visa gift cards and Disney gift cards last year for Christmas and when it came time for check out on our Jan 15 trip we were able to apply the Disney gift cards but the CM couldn't seem to figure out how to use the Visa gift cards towards our stay. So now fast forward to this Chistmas and have last years Christmas Visa gift cards plus accumulated bday Visa gift cards plus this years Visa gift cards plus more Disney gift cards. I want to apply all these cards to our stay (starting next week!!!). Can I apply these cards at check in? I don't want to wait until the last day and they tell me there is a problem using the Visa ones again. Should I just go today and apply all the cards towards one large Disney card at Target?

This would probably not be a bad idea. Getting them concentrated on one card will make things easier for everyone.

Plus we both opened up Disney Visa cards this year and each received the $200 Disney gift card. We have those too! I have been a card hoarder!!!

I'm not one to open up a cc just to get the instant savings but with the Disney Visas, it makes for multiple savings! I'm excited about my 10% off at Trails End & World of Disney and who could say no to $400 free Disney $$$.

Called Disney gift card # and I can merge all the Disney cards online!

I should probably look into a Disney CC. I assumed any benefit was offset by huge interest rates.

Is there a benefit over using Disney gift cards vs a generic Visa gift card?

The Disney CC two biggest perks is no interest on disnry vacation bookings for 6 months and Disney rewards dollars which we use for the girls when shopping World of Disney. We let the two DDs shop with the rewards dollars. Interest rate is comparable to other CCs.

1) Ask for another CM to help.
2) There is little difference in using a Debit Card versus a Credit Card.
3) Your CM was evidently absent that day of training.
