Hello transportation gurus! I was wondering....we want to go to Universal IOA one day but don't want to rent a car for the week because we will be using ME. I got a rate before coupon for $35 including taxes, and since the shuttle is $14 pp round trip and there are 3 of us, we would rather have the convienence of having our own car and being able to leave when we want so we can make a PS at Chef Mickey's for 8:30pm. Anywhoo, we have a visa check card and want to use it to rent from the Dolphin Alamo counter. It says this on my confirmation:
"Important Policy Information:
This location does not accept cash at time of rental or time of return. All payments must be made on a credit card. Renters may use a debit card as form of final payment upon return of the vehicle."
Does this mean I have to have a regular credit card on arrival but I can pay with a debit card, or is a Visa debit card sufficient all the way around? Anyone rent from the Alamo counter at the Dolphin with a check card? Thanks!
