Visa 7/4 question

I know that the Visa 7/4 rate is only for certain new accounts,but can anyone tell me if when you book is,if you have to put the whole amount on you card then,or can you put the deposit down and pay the rest on your card in 45 day before you arrive?Is there a certain number to call that would give us the 5 day before arrive to cancel?I wish that had kept the old way of doing things and the Magic Kingdom card (Disney Card) then it wasn,t so hard to figure out.Thanks for any help.

I'm pretty sure that you can pay the full balance the 45 days out but it does have to be on your Disney Visa card.

You only need to put a $200 deposit down. I took advantage of paying the whole thing with my credit card because I can then pay it off in 6 months at 0% interest. I don't know about a special number for the 5 day cancellation.

My understanding is that the 5 day cancellation is for a room only reservation; since yours would be a package thru WDW travel, the 45 day cancellation is in effect.

Once you have put the package on your Disney Visa (the whole ammont, not just the deposit), you are considered paid in full with WDW travel. Visa would just as soon have you NOT pay off the package anytime soon so they can get your $$$ thru the interest that accrues after the initial 6 month 0% interest period expires!
