This is to all the 11/23 Magic cruisers. What are your thoughts about the post regarding the virus on board? Can we verify this? Is there anything we can do? Is anyone nervous about boarding on Saturday?

Is there anything we can do? Wash your hands extra frequently when on the ship. That way, even if you do pick up a germ, you'll kill it before it can do you harm.

Is anyone nervous about boarding on Saturday? Nope. A stomach virus went thru my kid's school. It's not fun, but it's over with quickly. Anytime you have this many people in one place, you run a risk of viruses being spread. Disney is well know for its commitment to sanitation, so I am sure that they will scrub the ship from top to bottom

Did I miss something? I did not know about any ship "infestation"
Nothing serious I hope.

I work two days a week teaching preschool and personally am a walking petri dish. Every time a child feels ill they want me for some reason. Strep throat is running rampid in my son's school. I am just hoping we get ill and over it before we leave.
Maybe we will just luck out and be immune to all the bugs traveling in our neck of the woods right now.

My fingers are crossed for all of you - I had little stomach thing that lasted 24 hours while in Disney once and it was the worst!! Pixie Dust for you all - and use the Purell!!!!

I am very concerned. I am traveling with two small children and two elderly people. It would break my heart if we all get sick. We have been planning this trip for a year and a half.

I just posted that I read on cruisecritic.com that Holland has cancelled the Nov. 21 sailing due to their Norwalk virus problem.

About holland. They are going to scour the entire ship, replace pillows etc this week. I wonder what happens to the folks who were scheduled. Would holland be responsible for their out of pocket losses such as plane tickets, prepaid hotel etc? HMMM

Do we need a number of repetitive threads on this? Please try to use one already existing, it gets too confusing following too many threads on the same subject.
