I imagine they'd at least remove them if they serve the pieces with jewels? If not, your guests will just have to take one for the team because that cake looks awesome!

Wow, you do love your bling, don't you? It all looks great. And at a great price.

In regard to your guests eating the crystals, if they are put into the fondant, it shouldn't be an issue. Disney typically doesn't serve the fondant, so your guests will never come into contact with them. So, if you still want them on the cake, you could do it.

I also like the picture of the table that you posted. I want to do something similar with a pink overlay, silver chargers, pink napkins and silver chairs. I was worried it might be too much, but now I think I might be sold. Things that make you go hhmmm..

im still getting the mad hatter cake but the 1st layer will say " and they lived happily ever after" & the second layer will b the champange celebration (the picture above with the crystals dots) or vise versa.. they said depending on how long the phrase will b they will let me know.. thanks sweetie

Ohana is our all time favourite Disney restaurant and will be perfect for us, we were thinking of havign the rehearsal dinner there but if we cut that to save money we can maybe look into having an Ohana inspired menu DFi is also keen on having Stitch visit our reception hehe.

I survived a 60+ hr wk it was worth it bcuz in the words of Jillian " Do u know how much bling i can buy!!"

This is the final estimate of the elements i need for the ceremony & reception. I know u cant read it 2 well so i will rewrite it again..

White pipe & drape package to include:
3 back drops- 1 with swag & crystal tie backs with crystal topper in the center 6 10ft widths= 60ft total $800

crystal bouquet 2 keep with feathers & ribbon wrapped $225

2 10ft LED pedistals & mirror drops with silver branches 1 @ $175= $350

6 32in chandelier for isle & table with stand 1 @ $37= $222

1 5ft crystal tree in center $90

white rose petals for flower girl basket & stage exit $70

38 clear chiavari chairs with white cushion 1 @ $5.50= $209

1 moving fee from ceremony 2 reception $100

set up/ delivery $150

tax $155.12

Total $ 2,371.12

This price is cheaper than disney plus it is 4 BOTH ceremony & reception!! I am having them move the chairs, all crystal trees, LED pedistals to the reception.. I think i will have them put the pedistals 1 on each side of the cake table.. i am very happy with the estimate.. Oh & buy the way i bargained for this price 2!! How u ask? well in the white hall room there r 4 windows totaling about 60ft. I told them that i want all the windows covered with the white drapes. They said that the package only comes with 30ft of draped coverage. so i started to shop around & found a company called quest drapes that covered all the windows @ a cheaper rate. I called suzanne back & told her 2 take that part of the package out bcuz i found another company who will do it 4 a cheaper rate, quickly she said she will add another 30ft for the same price!! I LOVE MY LIFE

Thank u i am very happy 2 b done with that work wk i had this past sat, sun, & mon off but i was still busy with wedding stuff... i get this fri & sat off but i have 2 work 7-3 on sun bcuz we r required 2 work either xmas or new years every other yr, so this is my yr 2 work xmas But i have 2 look at the bright side i will work 8 hrs & get paid for 12 hrs plus still b able 2 attend xmas dinner... i also get mon off as well.. thx 4 asking!

Well ladies i just need 2 vent a bit bcuz DFTW as so many STUPID RULES but im still happy 2 b renewing our vows there

Let me start off by telling u that yesterday Amy (my planner) & myself went over the BEO 2 cut somethings.. I told her 2 remove the guitarist bcuz i hired christine the harpist.. she said let me c if u r allowed 2 use her bcuz she is a disney cast member.. WHAT! I knew she had worked 4 disney but i didnt know that this would b an issue.. needless 2 say she emailed me 2day & said that i can use her "ONLY 4 the ceremony bcuz it is inside & NOT 4 the prereception bcuz it is held outside" "have a nice day..." I will have 2 hire her thru disney 2 use her 4 the prerecept & have 2 pay for 3 hrs when i only need her for 2...I immediately called christine n told her what was going on.. she said she has done many wedding not thru disney & it wasnt a problem.. christine called amy & the entertainment dept & will get back 2 me.. christine said that if it will b a huge deal now she has the number of another harpist who hasnt worked 4 disney.. I dont want 2 deal with this right now bcuz im working three 12 hr shifts in a row .. its not like i have all the time in the world 2 make phone calls.. i really wish there was a rule book disney has so we all can read it.. every bride has gotten different answers 4 different things...

BUT again im glad 2 b getting married in disney

4 MORE MONTHS!!!

Time is flying by... Manny & I r now working on our invites. I would like them 2 go out in january.. i know they will b going out early but i want 2 know sooner rather than later who will b attending since it is a destination wedding..

Let me tell u guys what Manny did.. I could KILL him right now, well not kill but hurt him I had sent a out a text 2 my family that we r not doing xmas this yr bcuz of the wedding.. manny & i agreed upon this.. he normally calls me when he is on his way home from work bcuz that is my cue 2 get out of bed 2 cook dinner.. i could literally b n bed all day on my days off especially with my crazy schedule he came home without calling & nothing was done.. i asked him why he didnt call & he said dont worry about it just start now. so i started cooking & things of that nature.. & then he said "oh & by the way Merry Christmas" with a gift in his hand.. ... I accidently yelled at him bcuz we agreed that there will b NO XMAS this yr.. He bought me jewelry 4 the WEDDING!!!

It a pair of earrings with a matching necklace..The blue matches perfectly with my dress .. He told me i should have 2 of everything 4 the wedding- 2 sets of jewelry, 2 pair of shoes, 2 dresses... i said not 2 dresses, I LOVE my dress & want 2 wear it in epcot as well..so needless 2 say i will wear his jewelry 4 the dessert party at epcot the nite of the wedding & get 2 go shopping 4 another pair of shoes ... Now back 2 the part where i can hurt him, I DONT HAVE ANYTHING 4 HIM!! it is 2 days b4 xmas & he is laying next 2 me right now so how in the world can i get him anything without him knowing .. my co-workers said that just let him feel good about what he did.. knowing manny i know he gets excited when he surprises me bcuz I ALWAYS ruin his surprises 4 me .. Last year, DF and I decided we were only doing stockings... he put a freaking ipod touch in my stocking bc he said it fit. Seriously?? This year I made him pinky swear no presents, not even stockings. I love gifting and surprising people, but I know we are both tight with the wedding and didn't want him to get me something, I'll roll my eyes if he tries... soo I feel your pain, what a (sweet) stinker! BUT, he does have good taste and it will match perfectly!
At this point I'd take it as him being sweet and not try to rush and get something to give him now, he was the one who broke the rules. I'd slip in a surprise for something else later.. maybe tell him no Valentines gifts and give him something then, etc? GL!

The rules for the harpist are ridiculous.. grrr

yay for 4 months and your invites!! I am trying to send ours early too so we have an exact count more than a few weeks or a month before the wedding. Figuring they'll know whether or not theyre coming since youre right, it's a destination wedding!
