I'm telling you Aengus, I have a bad feeling in my stomach.

Also, the page where you enter and send your credit card info is not a secure https: page. The next page may be, but people are still sending info to the secure page via an unsecure one.

As far as I know, there was never any proof that the staff members in VFK were the staff members in VMK. They probably just passed themselves off as the old staff members to create a sense of trust within the community.

I did a search for AIRCON and Australia and the air conditioner company is who comes up. Maybe there's another AIRCON in Australia, but it still makes no sense for the money to be sent to another county. The CON part of the company name really makes me cringe.

They are them. I can not say how I know this but I have a reputation here and would not lie-they are who they say they are.

How do you know they were actually VMK staff? It's the internet. You can be anyone you want to be. I know some DIS members have said that it must be Fin because this person knows "stuff only Fin would know". Unfortunately, it is very easy to play off dialogue and have you say the bulk of what this person needs to masquerade. Even easier to go through the DIS and spot those who "knew" staff and posted all those cute little screen shots with them.

Or, perhaps, if the VMK folks were hired, they're as much in the dark as anyone.

Sorry guys, this is pure snake oil salesmanship. True bait and switch and they are now asking for money with vague promises of things to come when they never delivered on the first set of promises. As to the argument that maybe they aren't set up to handle credit cards...that's why the internet deities invented PayPal. It probably costs them no more than this other outfit (if it even exists). Just red flags all over the place.

I used to be positive about VFK but this just brings out the storm in me. I'm
disgusted with VFK to the max. They are fools, and whoever buys this family
package is a fool and needs to get their brain back from ebay.

Unfortunately in the VFK-based forums (VFK Forums, VFK Magic, VFK Fan Forums, everybody is buying it. Or at least
trying to convince their parents. What a nightmare.

I really don't know where to go now for my online gaming. This is the only
thing that appealed to me. They had a chance but they have no experience
whatsoever in making online games. This will not last more than 3 years. And
it is most likely a scam. It makes me so angry and confused.

I don't WANT anyone getting scammed but people are flaming me for telling
them to be careful and to not buy the family vip thing. Now I can't wait until
they do get scammed, see who gets the last laugh. This whole situation

Aww. I know you really don't want to see people get scammed. You are just hurt and confused by the game that was supposed to replace VMK in our hearts. I'm hoping that VFK makes good on its promises to those who are giving money to them. I'm thinking VFK is just a poorly run business without a clue. A scam?
