You are right I guess I don't get his sense of humor because of all the other posts he has already made.

If you read back the past 2 days, I have made nothing but positive remarks.

But glad you are watching me :thumbsup2

If they can't ban a player on the spot, they really shouldn't be open to players under 13.

In fact now that I think of it, we were never given any COPPA check box or anything when we signed up or enterred the game did we?

http://www.coppa.org/comply.htm

When signing up initially, I was not asked. But when my boyfriend and I both completed the registration process on the first day VFK opened, I remember us being asked if we were over or under 13. So it wasn't because they couldn't determine our ages from our maturity level?

hmmm I dont remember it,

I just tested their site now and it still doesn't ask when you sign up. Was it the next step maybe that does it?

I think they need that information up front to be in compliance because at that point they have possibly collected the email address of a minor.

I am no lawyer (I dont even play one on tv), so putting it out there, if they see it they can check into it.

LOl Im no lawyer either lol. Im an Accountant if that counts for anything. Im not sure why its not working for you. I only made one me there and I did have to check it when I registered on day one. To be honest I dont go on there much yet. Its still got an awful long way to go before its a real game.

Aengus I stood there the entire time that player entered the room. Im positive that staff has no power to do anything even if a report is sent. Yes staff acknowledged him several times like: " so and so, plz be nice", or "you can use play time here". But he kept it up. IMO they can do nothing as of yet, in which case they have no business even allowing players in the game.
Again, IMO.

I am kinda of sad at reading this post, as I stated in an earlier post, I was advised by a staff member in game that they can moderate a room without being present.

If that was the case, what Rob witnessed and other behaviors that people have posted in this thread should have been taking care of. That of course is one attribute us testers cannot test, so we have to rely on the information being present to us. So I guess they can watch a room, but cant do anything about it. :confused3

oh and read the rules, DIS doesnt have a double post rule :rotfl:

You all just assume it does :rotfl:

double again woot!!!!

I knew that, I read the rules with my morning coffee :)

Doesn't everyone?!?! :p

ETA: 3 Double Posts out of 7, new record?

You're not supposed to post posts that are off-topic.

I already got yelled at for doing this..

anyway... how is VFK?

:offtopic:

I Would Just like something to be in consideration before any more harsh points are made, has anyone thought that their moderation tools work, but the next time the person logs in after they have broke a rule and gotten banned, the ban will only take effect until they log in again, they still may be working on the DC system. If anyone would like to ask a staff member, it would be helpful. But it would certainly prove that they are doing their jobs and are not slacking.

ETA: I was just in a room when a girl cussed, she stood there talking and bam left in five minutes, I think the staff are working on it and doing their jobs, however should could of just left too. Just wanted to add it in.
