It's been almost 2 weeks since the tragedy at my alma mater. I, like many alumni, made the trip to Blacksburg Virginia last Saturday to pay our respects and bring some life back to the place. It's one thing to watch all the coverage on TV, it's another to see all those memorials to the individuals lost lined up next to each other. There are so many. Each of those was a professor who taught countless or a student with their life ahead of them.

Thank you for sharing... some very moving shots with the signs from other schools and the memorial for the engineering majors. I didnt attend there... but a lot of family has/is. It has been upseting at times, to think such a tragedy has happened on this beautiful campus. Your pictures are a nice tribute to the memory of those lost.

Thanks again

Thank you for Sharing. We need to see more of this type of thing rather than glorifying the killer on TV.

We have to remember our fallen heroes...:sad1:

Your gallery is very moving and at the same time your photo's are beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

Sorry for the late reply - I've been travelling the past 2 weeks with little opportunity to check in.

Thank you for the pictures; from this 'Hoo to you Hokie, we all share in your loss; I hope the healing has begun. :sad1:
