Virgin welcome Mettings

hi, just wondered where the Virgin welcome meetings are being held?
i know they used to be at downtown Disney but husband thinks theyve moved to Universals City Walk.
just want to know for planning our trip and couldnt find them mentioned

please please dont waste park time being sold all sorts of trips and tickets. You can get all the info and more from this site they have only one thing on their mind that is sell sell sell

Totally agree, they are there to sell overpriced tickets and don't give very good info.
Anything you want to know ask on here or Google. Last one we went to in Clearwater years ago she tried selling timeshare
1st one we went to in 1993 they told us Seaworld could be done in less than half a day just so they could sell more tickets, wouldn't trust them as far as I could throw them.

Dito unless it is your first visit i wouldn't bother and waste a morning you could be at the parks.

Don't waste your park time at one of these meetings. As everyone else has said, all they are held for is to sell you tickets.

Stay on this site for a few months and you could host a welcome meeting better than the virgin staff

I totally agree with all above, the only thing you need is the're contact phone number, just in case you have any problems or isues while your away.

We were staying a POR last June and it was held at Raglan Road at Downtown Disney. I think they have different ones for different areas/hotels.

I love your user name we went to a virgin welcome meeting to get the free meal tickets for buffalo bills on our 1st trip. If you want the tickets to your meal at citywalk without the hassle ask at the airport desk or call your rep whilst at resort.

hey thanks, my username is my husbands and my hobbies combined (though after finding this site may have to change it )
husbands a Star wars fan and i collect tatties (theyre the grey bears that you find in H sams and Clintons)

i know there are tickets for a meal at City Walk and thought maybe theyd moved the meetings there
mind you ive still got a year to go, so things may change- just asking things as i think of them
great advice to ask at airport, the only thing we got at the welcome meeting before was transfers to the Universal parks.


ps i love Quorn sausages too and Rutlands not far from me.x

Last year our Virgin rep was available to meet at our onsite hotel out the back of the food court. If you check the brochure it might tell you where the nearest rep can be located if you need to see one while you are there or you could ask at their desk at MCO when you land .
We told them when we made our extra bookings (shopping trip and Departure Day Breakfast) that we couldn't get to the welcome meeting, they put everything in our Welcome Pack and had it waiting at the airport and handed it to us before we boarded ME to the hotel.It was simple to do

My parents are there now and they said the welcome meeting was at Raglan rd Downtown Disney. I would say don't bother going unless its your first time and if you do don't intend to buy tickets there as they a so much cheaper if you buy them before you go. I think Virgin know most people don't bother now and they tend to phone you about a week before you go to see if they can have anything ready for you when you arrive so you don't have to go to the meeting.
