we are travelling upper class and i can not remember what the check in time before is? on the tickets it reads three hours before, but i am sure its only two, anybody out there know? Tried ringing virgin, but really busy!
hope someone can help. We did think about twilight check, but i think i will check in on the day as i want my make-up and clothes with me.
My daughter is now very excited about seeing Mickey! not long till tuesday.

Its been a while since I actually checked in at the airport but I think it closes 60 mins prior to travel.
Check-in will be open at least 3 hours before, Virgin recommend at least 2.5 hours.

If you are going UC I wouldn't leave it as late as 2 hours anyway.

By the time you get through security, even fast-track, it doesn't leave you a lot of time for the lounge.

Its been 3 hours standard for all international flights for awhile now hasn't it? Def with Upper class Id get there as early as you can so you can spend time in the lounge

Just come back from St Lucia and UC was 2 hours in advance.

We always travel from Manchester and to be honest I'm not really one for sitting in these lounges, each to their own but I always thinks to myself "I'm going to be sat for the next 8 hours or so, so I'll keep on my feet as long as possible". I am slightly hyperactive though, I think it comes with having four children under 7:laundy:

Hi,
We flew UC from Manchester with Virgin in Jan this year. We allowed around 2 and a half hours but I booked our taxi thinking we only needed 2 hours so thought I was being cautious until I read about allowing 3 hours :lmao:

Anyhow, in our case it worked out about right, the queue for security was very long and we only had time for a drink in the lounge and it was pretty much time to go, we certainly wouldn't have had time to do any shopping at the airport etc (not our thing anyway).......

I have to say that next time I would probably allow the full 3 hours.
