Virgin upgrade

Hi Guys

I am wondering if you guys can help

We have a fly drive booked with travel city direct (flying with virgin) and between my husband and myself we have approx 20,000 flying miles! I am wondering if I can upgrade to PE using our miles? If I can, how do I go about it?
There are 4 of us so would we be able to share our miles with the kids?

Not sure if you even can upgrade with miles when you haven't booked directly with virgin. Either way I don't think you'll have enough miles. Last time I checked it was 12,500 per person each way. So 25,000 for a round trip per person.

Personally I would save them and use for miles plus money fares if you plan on going again.

You won't be able to use miles to upgrade, I'm afraid. Only certain ticket classes can be upgraded using miles and those issued as part of a Flydrive with VH, TCD or any other TA are not eligible.
