Virgin Twilight Check-in re-opens

Virgin twilight check-in has re-opened for all flight (except Boston) from 15.30 to 21.00.

I hope this helps anyone who was disappointed when they suspended this

What is the Virgin Twilight check in? We live quite close to Manchester Airport and are flying out on Saturday 1st June 2002. Does this mean we can drive over to the airport on Friday and check in our bags and get our boarding cards? If so, does everyone who is travelling have to check in? It would certainly take the stress out of Saturday if we could.

Sorry for sounding a bit dim, but I have never come across this before.

This only operates in Gatwick, not Manchester.

Baldrick, as Theresa says, this was a perk only at Gatwick, which meant people who were staying overnight near the airport or lived close enough to use it, could get checked in the evening befoer their flight.

I think the security aspect prevents the Downtown Disney check-in getting reinstated.

That's great! I too hope that the DD check-in comes back...I have heard that they are tentatively reinstating some curb-side checkin's again throughout the States (including at the Disney Cruiseline) so fingers crossed that it's only a matter of time

Now we can go straight to the airport and check in before going to the hotel.

I have a few questions if anyone can help

What time does the twilight check in open and close ?
Do you still have to check in for ticket issue the next morning or can you go right to the departure lounge?
Is this just open for the summer schedule ?

CrumblesMum,the check in is from to 15.30 to 21.00.As for the other info I haven't actually done twilight checkin so don't know.I'm positive you won't need to queue in the morning you just get to the airport about an hour before the flight,can anyone confirm that?

Another stupid person here - I do it all the time! I always realise as soon as I press the 'submit' button because I get the <i>Please complete the subject field</i> message. Then I just copy and paste to save typing it all again.
