Virgin haven't yet introduced the new rules regarding pre-booking so currently you can pre-book your seats 60 days in advance and they should open up at 8am for pre-booking. You can only pre-book 60 days before the relevant leg of your flight though so will have to do outbound and return separately, both at 60 days prior.
ETA: For you, you should be able to pre-book your outbound seats at 8am tomorrow (30th July).
I honestly don't know. I think they would be stupid to do it as it's one thing they have over BA at the moment.
A friend of mine is an airline pilot with BA and he has been offered a job with VA but told me last week he wouldn't take it as VA are not making a profit at the moment. Their prices keep going up and up and they are just pricing themselves out of the market. If they implement this, then they are just losing one more brownie point and making it an easier decision for people to go elsewhere.
I read complaints about VA and BA on here.I suppose we want it all for nothing.
We always fly VA because of miles only or miles plus money.
once you are hooked with one it is difficult to change.
