Hi,

I was just wondering if Virgin have more then 1 sale in the year & if there is going to be another in the next few months?

My friend & I are wanting to go to Vegas in October, however only BA & Virgin fly direct. I got a reasonable deal with BA which is half the price of Virgin but will wait to see if Virgin has anything in the near future. The travel agent has got a deal for in direct but that means 22 hours of travelling which I don't want.

Thanks:goodvibes

The way flight prices are this year, I would be booking the reasonable deal with BA ASAP, especially if it's half the price of Virgin.

I'd agree, book BA now. Even if they have a sale on in the future, it's unlikely to get near the price of BA at the moment.

I would snap BA's hands off. Half the price of Virgin sounds like too good a deal to ignore. You do sometimes get sale fares for this route but generally they fill up very quick without the need for sales.

Thanks, i'm just waiting for work to say if they will grant me leave. Normally they tell me there & then but have decided to be difficult:headache: The travel agent is holding their deal for 48 hours so all is not lost

Maybe you should warn your employer that there is an army of very supportive people on a certain discussion board willing them to make a speedy decision :rotfl2: This is serious business. When will they let you know or is that an open ended question at this stage?

Believe the NHS wouldn't care about that! anyway I found out today they have granted me all my leave I submitted:faint:

BOOK NOW, prices only sadly seem to be going one way ....

UP !

I couldn't book anything until my leave was granted as if I was refused I would be out of pocket as the deal we were offered was not a package & the whole amount was needed to be paid. Fortunately I can go ahead now. I did look on Virgins site again today & there price is the same as BA now, hopefully it will hold for the next couple of day:thumbsup2
