Anyone else addicted to this train wreck? The acting is mediocre at best and the story is far-fetched but I binge-watched season 2 in the last three nights. Hopefully, there is a season three to tell us what happens after that cliffhanger at the end.

Annette O'Toole as Hope is the worst out of the bunch. Those awkward facial expressions and lip pursing! Yikes.

I don't know why she is playing Hope's character that way. Apparently, in the book she is a much smaller character and less offensive overall. I don't remember that actress being so hard to watch in other things. She just rubs me the wrong way.

It's supposed to be set in the NW, in Oregon I believe. Filmed in Canada and the scenery is gorgeous.

I liked season 1. I've been watching season 2, but I'm finding it hard to get through. I'm stuck on episode 4. Sometimes the action goes quickly, like the scenes with Wes and Paige, but and sometimes too slow, like most of the scenes with the two main characters.

I'm annoyed by the Hope and Charmaine characters. I like the actor who plays Doc - Tim Matheson - he was the vice president in The West Wing, my all time favorite TV series.

I did like Sweet Magnolias too.

They mention somewhere in episode 2/3/4 of season 2 that they're in Humboldt County, which places it in northern California.

I am watching. Love it!! Hope drives me nuts, she is just a whack-o. I love Tim Matheson. He was also the doctor on Hart of Dixie. I love Jack and Preacher. The story line with Preacher and Paige seems forced to me. Like it takes a back seat to the drama of Mel and Jack. Almost like an afterthought.

Oh the busy-bodies in that town! LOL!!!

I really liked Season 1 and am watching Season 2 now, I’m 3 episodes in.
If you have Kindle Unlimited the first 2 books are available. I haven’t read them yet but I’m sure like always the books will be better

I’m half way through season 2. I really loved the books so find this is a nice break from everything else, even if it doesn’t live up to them.
