Virgin prices!

Found a good price with virgin m&m just a couple of days ago but couldn't book until my dh got confirmation from work, just had a look and it's gone up again, only £40 each but the whole holiday is already pricey, I know you can't predict if prices will come down or go up again but it's just always the way when it's time to book! I want to fly to Orlando so we can get the magical express, just have to shop around again!

I have found that, with any holiday I look at, the more you look at it the higher the price will be.

For example;

- If a package is £1000 pp and 10 people look at it online, it is likely to drop.
- so If said package drops to £900 pp and 1000 people look at it (both without anyone booking) it is likely to go up to £950 pp

Its all about supply and demand.

Next time ill make sure not to look until I know I can book! ;)

On our previous trips we've always flown with Virgin however this time I thought that the prices were ridiculously high, so we're going indirect with BA. When I booked a few days ago the price difference between the flights that I'd booked and Virgin's was a £1000, just had another look on Virgin's website and it's now £1600!! :crazy2: IMHO it's not worth paying all that extra money to fly direct!

sounds great, only thing that puts me off is we are only going for 1 week and didnt want to spend too much time travelling, just out of interest though what would happen if your first flight was delayed, would you lose the next flight or do they just put you on the following one?

When we flew to Vegas via Philly with US Airways our flight from Man was late in so we missed the connecting flight, so they just put us on the next flight. It wasn't a problem.

That's a relief, we also have a friend joining us next month who will be travelling on his own indirect and wasn't sure how it worked with delays and luggage etc, so hopefully should be ok!
