Virgin plane names from Manchester.

Just been watching some camcorder footage with DD from 2004 and she was very excited to know what our plane will be called. We last went on 'Island Lady'. Has anyone just come back via Manchester on VS075? What plane names have you been on? What condition are the planes in? And very importantly, was the seat back entertainment working? I remember a lot of unhappy passengers as their TVs were not working.

The Virgin planes that fly from Gatwick or Manchester tend to be one of 5 planes that were part of a cancelled Alitalia order and all have the super Nova entertainment system.

Hi we flew back to gatwick a few weeks ago and my DD4 seat back tv wasn't working. They tried to reboot it but still wouldn't work so they gave her a personal dvd player and a choice of films. She chose Alvin and the chipmunks and there were plenty others to chose from. Cabin crew said to just call and get a different one whenever but she fell asleep so DS11 and DH both watched it too. The dvd's on the list all seemed pretty good.

We flew on Ladybird to MCO in August not sure what we flew back to Manchester on.

November 2005-Jersey Girl and Lady Bird on return
November 2006 we flew out on Barbarella back on pretty woman
August 2007 we flew out on hot Lips and return on Jersey Girl.These were from manchester
We have been fortunate with entertainment though mine did not work coming back in 2006 and they gave me £25 to spend on duty free.
Some of these did not have the games system on .I know hot lips did and I think Pretty woman.Don't quote me on the last one.
The planes all seemed ok to me.I think the worst interior was on barbarella but to me as long as they are clean and get me there in one piece I am ok.

I think Heathrow tend to get the better planes(or newer should I say).
I am hoping we get one we haven't flown on before this time.Its fun to see which one is waiting for you.

vs075 On sat 21st sept and return 28th man-mco was pretty woman and all seatback entertainment was working fine.
