Virgin park tickets/vouchers

We are off for our 1st trisp in 16 days Am now starting to worry over the fine details ! We have booked with Thomas Cook using Virgin, have not had tickets yet but presume from what others have said we will get vouchers for our park tickets rather than actutal tickets, and these need to be exchanged.We are arriving on the 10.30 from Manchester to MCO on the 17/1o and have booked Tusker House for breakfast at 8am on the 18/10. Now realised will need to get vouchers at some point before this to get into AK and I preune Tusker house so my question is how do I do this? Will I be able to change them at Animal Kingdom on the morning of 18/10 before my reservation or could I change them the night before anywhere at DTD ? My only other option is to go to a park on the sunday evening that we get there and change them which I didn't really want to do.

We always change ours at DTD. It's our tradition to go there the first night.

Ooh that's fab, we are staying at POFQ so a trip to DTD on the boat on the eve we get there sounds good. Where do we go ? Sorry 1st timer ! Is there a disney customer service there?

If your staying in a disney resort I believe that they go on your key to the world card this will be used for any dining plans, your room key, park tickets and if you want it to they will also use it for any park/dtd purchased.

Anyone correct me if im wrong on this my first stay onsite isn't until Dec even though ive been loads.

Just come back myself, and you are indeed correct. If you're staying at a Disney Hotel and you booked your park tickets on the same package as your holiday (We went with Travel City Direct (Virgin owned) then they put your park tickets on the KTTW card, so no queueing anywhere other than check-in at the hotel!!!
