Virgin Luggage Allowance - 1 x 23kg ??!!

Finally we've received our holiday tickets. But they state we're only entitled to 1 X 23kg piece of luggage each. I'm sure it was meant to be 2 x 23kg. Can anyone who's travelling soon tell me what I should have?

According to VA website it is 2 x 23kg per person for transatlantic flights. HTH

Flew yesterday and mine was certainly 2 x 23 which was a good thing given what we brought back!!

Thanks - that's what I read on the website too. I doubt we'll have more than 4 x 23kg between the 4 of us but it's nice to know there's some lee way.

We will be taking about 60kg between 3 of us, our allowance is 96kg each, total 288kg, can't see us getting anywhere near that.

We flew back last Thursday and definitely had 2 * 23Kgs per person. Although we bought an extra bag while out there. In no way did we need anything like this allowance for 2 adults, 3 kids

I've now seen the e-ticket and it doesn't actually state the number of bags we're allowed just that the bag size is 23kg. So I guess I'll believe the website (& Valerie!)
