Dont be worried - I travelled this summer with them to Florida and there were no probs, just like in 2004 when i went to LA with them. Any operator has the same problems from time to time, it is just unfortunate when it happens to you.

I use VH at least once a year - never had any problems.

Their customer support has got hit & miss following the move to a call centre but I think they are learning fast.

For instance booked tickets to see Cirque show "O" in Las Vegas with them and they didnt have a clue what I was talking about. I had to talk them through what it said in their brochure - however 2 days later they rang me back to tell me the tickets were booked and when we got there we had excellent seats.

As I have mentioned before also it was great to see 6 Virgin 747's all lined up at Orlando airport to take us all home after hurricane Frances. Not sure you would get that with anyone else.

So its not all bad.

Ive travelled with them 3 times and never had any real problems with them, flights have always gone on time, transfers were good etc.

I'm sure 99% of bookings go without a hitch. I have travelled twice on a Virgin package and I had no complaints whatsoever.
