£ for £, the food "up back" is still better value! If those photos are representative, both the food and the presentation have gone downhill since we last travelled UC.

Obi - do you take the knives,forks, spoons, salt & pepper home with you??? As they are really quite posh It is my lasting memories of childhood holidays (in the late 60's on Dan Air) of my mum & dad filling their handluggage with plastic utensils!! I have to really resist doing this when i go on a plane

I have to say, BA's Club World food is better and their First menu knocks spots off both!

It is a bone of contention to many frequent fliers how the food has gone down in quality over the years. However, since the last menu change improvements have been noted.

Not the knives and forks, but I have a squadron of salt and pepper pots! (they all have "Pinched from Virgin Atlantic" on the feet )

I also have a wardrobe full of sleep suits (Something BA in Club World do not supply, so I love wearing them on those night flights)

They have now started to provide metal cutlery again. Mind you those plastic utensils were very good for plastic.

I have seen passengers taking the blankets, pillows, headsets and stuffing them into their carry ons before.

Gosh! Dan Dare! I have some great memories of that company (Not for under 18 publication mind...)
