Virgin flying club miles

Hi all.
Not really sure how the vfc works but due to a few trips my wife and i both have nearly 8500 miles each.
We are probably looking at going back to orlando in 2014 so is there any way i can use these or is the amount too little.

You can do miles and money so 2000 miles each might get you a reduced fare for economy flight but on my dates it saves me around £20 so not worth me spending my miles

Or 7,500 each miles plus money in PE, sometimes you can get a decent saving others not!

Definitely check before using them. The dates we are looking at save us £60 for 2 PE seats and cost us 14,000 miles. Or we can pay the extra £60 and earn 10,000 per person.

Other times I have made quite significant savings.
