Virgin Flydrive bookings - help

I'm trying to book a Virgin Flydrive (after much umming and arring over TCD legroom with my 6' 2" DH) but even though I go via the book a flydrive option it's not giving me the option to have a car.

I'm trying to book over the internet as I don't like using phones and I'm getting sooooo frustrated.

Where am I going wrong?

Libby, have you got as far as entering the passenger details? If I recall correctly, the car and insurance options are almost the final steps with VH bookings.

ETA, I have just tried it and am not getting any car/insurance options either - not sure what's up with that.

Thanks for looking, I can get the deatils if I try to book a package with hotel, but not fly-drive. Anyway I seem to have crashed their system completely as I can't do anything right now! I'll have another look later.

I booked last week with Virgin Flydrive for 2009 and didn't get the option of car hire/insurance either. I want to book my car hire elsewhere though because it's so much cheaper so I was quite happy to get the flights for the price I did hence why I booked.
I'm not sure what's going on. Did you phone them?

When i booked yesterday i was able to pick the car and insurance options

must be a glitch !

Thanks, if they'd been available when I first looked I'd have booked then. But now I want to wait until after this month's credit card bill has been paid before paying out the deposit. I just hope the prices don't go up too much in the next fortnight.

VH seem to have quite a few glitches on their site at times. When pricing up the holiday I always phone them aswell as getting an online quote as I've had differences in price between the 2. (i'm in FVC so get the 10% discount regardless of phone or online booking) When I booked a few weeks ago they missed off the surcharge for staying at ASM saving me £320..... they've since started charging for it. Luckily i booked in time before they reinstated it. Just noticed their fuel surcharge has gone up £20 over the last week or so.
