Thank you for your posts, it seemes its just the two Orlando flights with big delays all other flights going off quickly and here now only Orlando and one Newark flight left. Less busy now.


If it leaves on the suggested time we will not pick up a hire car until past midnight, must be bad for families with young kids, what a way to start and will mean many people will nto want an early 'parks' start on Sunday.

Just an update bar one Monarch flight to Sanford at 9.30am the next two flights with the longest delays are the two Virgin Orlando ones, all other flights seem ot be getting off, if you look at the monitors it now sticks out these flights have the wrost delays.

Yes, they said the usaul close is about 1pm, but it will stay open all afternoon, hot food at 5.30pm and hopfully borad at 6.15pm for 6.45pm take off, no flight in as yet, they say our flight is coming in from Las Vegas.

Interestingly the VS028 is not yet showing a delay leaving Orlando tonight - which if true means its not the VS027 turning around and flying back and they are actually putting another plane on.

This I suppose is the only way they can really ever catch up the delays on a route with no spare time between flights in and out - find a "spare" aircraft from somewhere to take the place of the one stuck in a loop of delayed departures ??

Hi,
Andrew looks like the Vegas flight is due in at 17:18 so that gives them just over 2 hours to get it ready for your flight and depart at 19:30 as estimated. Hope it works out like that.

Couldnt get on the PC for the last hour kids on them, three Virgin planes turned up between 5pm and 5-15pm We were told that VS0015 & VS0028 will now depart both at 19:30pm no reason given why ours was put back.

Bet the other goes first, cannot think what orlando would be like at 2am with two flights coming in, delays at passport control car hire etc after a day when I was here at 6.30am, whilst the reason this was caused is understandable lots of people appear to be upset, why, it appears Virgin is so much behind the others???

Nightmare situation Andrew. We are flying same flight tomorrow morning so have been checking the flight all day............... it makes it such a long day,
One of the reason we booked virgin was for the on flight entertainment- think we will just sleep through that now! if we have the same delay

Seems my earlier post was optomistic. VS028 is now also delayed 5 hours.

Seems the Virgin/Orlando route is not sorting itself out.

Normally, I only engage in conversation with the immigration officials if they take the lead, but I think I would be tempted to thank them (and everyone else at the airport) for hanging around for us in these circumstances.
