Virgin flash sale this weekend (be careful)

Apparently Virgin have a flash sale on until 22.04.14. May be a good deal for some.

Take care though, the cost of 1 week for Feb 2015 for 4 people appears to have doubled since Thursday evening. It was in the region of £640 per head with accommodation and is now £1300 per head.

I always price up packages as occasionally you can grab a deal but DIY is normally much , much cheaper x

I fortunately had success with Virgin Atlantic's flash sale Having had a rough few months, my doctor recommended a little trip away so the brain started buzzing. On Thursday the cheapest flights I could find were VA and BA who were both around the £620 mark. Friday morning I netted LGW - MCO for £388. So I'm off on my first ever solo trip in just over three weeks!

Only going for 10 days and most of that will be spent down the gulf coast relaxing (plus visiting old family friend in West Palm Beach), but I will stay in Orlando for my first three days to visit Epcot and maybe MK.

My DD and I had our first trip back to Florida last year since 2009 and she's not too keen on Epcot, so this time it's all mine!

We leave in two weeks Epcot is particularly beautiful during Flower and Garden so much to look at especially if you are a gardner or even if you aren't! Food booths to try, even rum with a dole whip if you fancy it.

I looked at the Disney options and have emailed Virgin to query as they advertise between dates, but when you look at the dates they are one day dates, ie 14th Nov 2014 to 14th Nov 2014, also is saving 2% a massive saving, lol. I'm not trying to sound ungrateful for a saving, but if your going to advertise a flash sale it shouldn't be limited to 5 Disney hotels for 1 day on each, ideally it should be 15-20% off all bookings.
