Virgin Check-in via Disney Springs

Im wondering if anyone has had any experiance using the Virgin Atlantic check-in / baggage drop at Disney Springs when you have only booked a flight, and not a Virgin Holiday package

Can you still use the bag drop service if you have done that?

We booked or flights with Virgin Atlantic, but booked Disney through the Disney Holiday website
