Virgin Car hire...

Hi,
I've been pricing up holidays and we've decided that we aren't going to bother with hiring a car as we're staying onsite. Our price with Virgin includes car hire, do they take anything off this price if you tell them that you are not taking the car hire?

I don't think that they take anything off the price if you don't have the car. We have never had the car, just the "free" transport to the resort. I haven't noticed any price reduction on the invoice (however i can never make head nor tail of the invoice anyway )

You don't get a discount if you don't take the car but Virgin do (or used to) offer free transfers to your resort from the airport.

If you are booking a flydrive and tell them you don't want the car, they will actually add money to your invoice as VH don't offer 'flight only' so will consider you are not keeping witht eh terms and conditions of booking and charge you £30 per person extra.

car hire is free its the insurance you have to pay for,would get own insurance and just not pick up the virgin one no nead to tell them.there would be no problem doing this we use www.usrentacar.com for ours
