We are due to fly at the end of Aug's with Virgin Atlantic, Does anyone know if the new V-PORT systems are going to be installed in the gatwick fleet by then?

Almost certainly not, unfortunatley. The fitted Nova system has been upgraded to give you more channels when the new Upper Class suites were installed.

Going a week on thursday, so will try and do a small update.
