After finding a palce to stay at and pricing up the flights a few weeks ago, I've waited till midnight for my wages to go into the bank then tried to book the flights

They have gone up £1,000 for 4 Adults in the space of a few weeks

Well that looks like my Holiday plans our out of the window :headache:

Glad i only payed £200 deposit for the Accomodation

Just sent Virgin and e-mail to Customer Service Team

You never know they might even give me the flights for the lower price :coffee:

I won't be holding my breath though

Hi Tony,

Try looking again in a couple of days. Sometimes the prices on their site rise by a couple of hundred pounds, then a day or two later they drop again. I don't know why, maybe someone else do. I just checked the price for Sept and it's showing £650. A couple of days ago I think it was showing about £428. If i'm right it'll drop again in a day or two [hopefully]. :thumbsup2

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but Virgin were running a sale on US flights, which ended on 25th April. That could be why the prices have now gone up.

They also go up at certain stages throughout the year too. They start of cheaper and then nearer the time the rise!

Do you have any miles? Prehaps try a M+M fare?

I had this problem. After checking the website and giving them a call they told me these offers were finishing in 2 days. We then had to decided everyting else. We managed to book the filghts for 1300 (2 adults, 1 child). We had to take the later one going out otherwise it would have cost us an extra 600. Dont be to disheartened, Virgin will probably have another offer on soon espcially if you are going in Sept which is their quite time.

I agree with above, offer's are always coming available,Just keep checking the website daily,I hope you get sorted.:goodvibes

Thats great news, It was October 30th i was booking for for 2 weeks so with a bit of luck they may come down.

I've got till August to cancel the Accomadation before i have to pay the balance so just losing the deposit, Hopfully somthing might change

I can't belive Virgin is the only Airline that flies direct from Manchester to Orlando :sad2:

They are not the only airlines. Have you tried Travel City Direct, First Choice, Thomson, Cosmos. I know these are charted airlines and they fly into Stanford rather than MCO but if the price is right does it really matter? Also you might want to check BA, American Airlines and United Airlines.

Sorry also have a look on expedia.

I am sure by Monday VA will have an offer on again! Have been watching VA since January and the offer is on for say 2 weks then off for 3 or 4 days then back on again!!

Claire ;)

I presume you dont have Virgin miles as that would bring your price down to £392 each from £654.
It sounds like you are set on Direct flights but if you would consider indirect Travelbag and Ebookers have a great offer on BMI thru Chicago, Personally prefer BMI to Virgin more leg room, better entertainment system and better food. They are coming up at £389.50 each. Same flights on Expedia £650 each. We did this route last August no problem
Other than that like others have said wait for Virgin's next offer.
