Where can I find more information on VIP tours other than the generic Disney website? When to book, cost (going in July) does it cost differently per park, etc

Are you referring to the private VIP tours? If so, the cost varies by season and is per-hour, with a 7-hour minimum. It does not cost differently per park as you can park hop during the tours (tickets not included). The only way to get the hourly rate for your desired date would be to call in and ask.

Lots of examples on Youtube. Also, search the Dis with keywords. You'll see lots of threads.

Book 60 days out
Price ranges from $425-850/hr depending on date no matter what park
Minimum 7hrs
Up to 10 people with one guide (more than 10 means more guides)
Price does not include tip
You can tell them exactly which attractions you want to do and they will make it happen (if they are allowed to)
You can call and ask them your questions - you do not need to book to call

Morning all. I searched and have not been able to find this exact answer but wanted to piggyback an existing thread...so hopefully asking in the right place. I have seen a lot of varying info on booking the VIP Private Tour and the 60 vs 60+10. The questions I have are:

1-Can you in fact book 60+10?
2-If I want my tour on the 11th or 12th day of my stay, like ADRs can I book on its 60+10 day? So If Jan 28 is my 60+10 day but I want the VIP tour on my 11th day, can I call on Jan 29th to book that tour, or January 30th to book it on my 12th day? Hope this is as clear as I hope it sounds... :)

“Price does not include tip” - or ticket, and if you want to park hop, you need to purchase a park hopper ticket in order to do so.

You can definitely book at 60 + 10. I just did that. But I don't know about 11. I assume you have to call to time it for 60 + 10.

thanks much. I’ll inquire of them when I book first day. It’s crazy how impossible VIP tours have become regardless of how much they Jack the price. Used to be you could book one a week or two before. Crazy times.

Its nuts. I booked for later in my trip so had no issue. But I forgot to call for a trip last year (that we ended up cancelling anyway). and a few hours into my 60 day window it was gone. good luck!

How much tip do you give?

okay. This is a bone of contention. I’ve heard the tour guides see everything from $0 to crazy. I personally try to base it on the experience and the hourly rate. I personally think 20% is too much. I’ve heard $50/person or one hour, whichever is greater. For our upcoming trip at spring break it’ll be a $6000 tour so I think $600-$850 is likely. But we are generous tippers for an amazing experience.

It’s a load of cash to carry around frankly but these guides are the best of the best and have worked hard to earn their pin.

Lots accept Venmo - you can email or phone Signature Services a few days before your tour and ask if your assigned guide is one who does. At least this works when response times from SS were quicker than they seem to be now. I just waited ten days for an email response to a question, but when I cancelled a VIP Tour 72 hours in advance in September via email due to some family members needing to fly home early, I received an immediate response (thank goodness!).

Wow. A lot has changed. Used to be you had to offer a tip three times before they’d even accept. It was policy. I hope this increase in demand hasn’t lowered their guide standards. Not just any CM can do VIPTG Justice.

My first VIP Tour was in 2016, and I gave a cash tip that was accepted in the first offer. I’ve taken several since then and have never had any pushback with a tip.
