I have some questions about this topic? First , can someone explain how the VIP tours works? Are there different tours?
Secondly, does VIP tour include the price of admission to the park? Or is that a whole separate thing?
Third, would I have a better experience at Disney World paying for VIP tour instead of a Park hopper ticket?

I cannot tell you how they work, as I’ve never done one. I do know that separate theme park admission is required for the tour and you have to book a minimum of 7 hours. I think it is several hundred dollars an hour.

I'm not following exactly what you are asking. Are you trying to maximize the number of headliner attractions you want to get on during a short trip? The Ultimate Day of Thrills VIP tour will allow you to do that but it's $300 a person in addition to park tickets for each of the parks and it looks like it is only available on Tuesday. For me, it's just a personal preference, but I wouldn't enjoy doing a tour that focused on getting on rides. We prefer to enjoy our time in the parks without being limited by where the tour guide is taking us - sometimes we like to just stop and look around or slow down and take a rest, get a snack, etc. There are, however, several other tours that we find very interesting.

I haven't actually done a VIP Tour, but I looked into them in detail fairly recently. If you Google, you'll find full explanations of each one. Here's my 2 cents.

If this is your first trip, I wouldn't consider it. Unless you are a history buff who wants to see the behind the scenes of MK with the KTTW tour, or you're going to be there for 2+ weeks and you want some non-ride experiences, I don't think the money or the time away from the attractions is worth it for a first time visitor. They're very expensive, informative but they take a long time, and except for Ultimate Day of Thrills, you don't get to actually experience many of the rides. And even then, they zip you around to the thrill rides so you have to backtrack to see all of the other attractions.

Park hoppers will be much cheaper and they're good for your entire visit. We stay onsite and really use the hoppers and EMH strategically. We are big ride people! I recommend paying the $15 for 1 year membership to Touring Plans (or similar site) to help make your daily itineraries. We've been many times and I still find TP useful and worth the $15/year.

And read lots of threads here! That's probably the best thing you can do.

I don't think anybody will be able to tell you what the better experience will be for you and your group. VIP tours and park hopper tickets are two separate things. The park hopper will allow you to visit multiple parks in a day, but won't get you priority access to any of the rides (except the ones you make FP+ for). The VIP tours will guarantee you ride certain rides in the course of a day depending on which tour your choose (VIP Thrills, VIP Classic or the private VIP tour). Here is a link for the description of the tours: https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/search/?searchQuery=vip

If you have a very limited amount of time and want to hit some major headliners in a single day, the Thrills tour might be a good option. Unless you are going on a super crowded day, I'm not sure if the Classics tour would be worth it. With the private tour, you will have access to any of the rides and attractions with FP+ plus premier locations for shows and fireworks. It just really depends on how much money you want to spend.

If you are going for a multi-day trip and will hit all of the parks for at least one full day, I, personally, don't think you need a tour. Just your FP+ and a good touring plan.

The behind the scenes tours you are describing and the VIP tours the OP is asking about are two very different things. The VIP tours focus on getting on rides and attractions and don't do any of the history, information sharing you're speaking of.

Yes, you're right, it was one I thought was worth mentioning and it's listed under tours. I didn't mean to be confusing

I don't even comprehend comparing the two. Private VIP tours start at 400 an hour and go up to 600 an hour depending on season and have a minimum of 7 hours so at minimum cost 2800 bucks even at the minimum cost and maximum people it is still and extra 280 per a person. The non-private vip tours are 300 per a person. These costs do not include park admission or food. Park hoppers cost what 50-75 depending on if it is for 1 day or muli-day.

Besides that park hopper might be required for what you want to do with a Private VIP tour.

You have to buy the Park Hopper ticket in addition to the VIP package.

as other have said the tour dose not come with park tickets.

on the privet tour you decide what you do and where you go they will pick you up or meet you where ever, and if you would like to park hop they will drive you from park to park.you pretty much get unlimited FP and can ride a ride as many times as you would like. ( you pretty much give the tour people what you would like to do and they make it happen) you can also get VIPsetting for show and parades. it is I think at lest 7 hours at 400 or so an hour here is Disney website on the tour https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/events-tours/private-vip-tours/

would I do this in a hart beat but I do not have the 4,000 to spend on this tour

they also have the utilment day of trills tour which I have done 2x and have loved loved loved it you can read about it here https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/events-tours/ultimate-day-of-thrills-vip-tour/. if you have a few days and would like to do a lot I would do this tours well worth the price and the CM that do the tour are all really good and will give you little secrets about the park. ( if you can afford this then I would but you need a park hopper ticket too)

then they have this one I have not done and I do not think you need park hoper for it

like I said if you can do the ultiment day of thrills I so would and looking forward to doing it again
