Thanks for all the info Malcon1ot!
Do you think a party of a just a lil over 20 would have to be split up? or would we be able to tour together as a group?

We had 15. We stayed together most of the time. When we split was when we had a ride the under 40"ers couldn't ride or someone didn't want to ride, then we would split simply to do a ride with the toddlers, then swap back so everyone rode. If you have 22, you will have to have 3 guides.

We did have one funny incident. With 2 guides, we usually had one guide walking ahead, and one bringing up the rear. We were walking through Cars Land, and the 4 kids (6-10yos) were walking with the guide in front, I was in between the 2 groups, and the other adults were a little further back... We past a woman and her daughter, and I overheard the mother telling the daughter the kids were probably a star's kids, and how they just get dropped off at Disneyland and hire guides for them.

Hey Malcon10t: I have a few questions about the Fantasmic! seating on the steps with the VIP tour. I realize you may not have all the answers, but figured I try for whatever you know about it. Will there be a place for us to sit or will we be standing the whole time? My reservation says:

"Please proceed to New Orleans Square. Your check-in location may be found at the center staircase below the Cafe Orleans restaurant. First available ground seating begins 30-45 minutes prior to show time..."

Do we really need to be there 30-45 minutes early? Are we going to get a seat that's less than "best" if we show up only 5 minutes early? Thanks!

Fantasmic! - Seating is on the steps between the premium seating. It is ON the steps, as in no chairs, but my kids like it there.
WoC - Seating is in the back, very good view and there are benches.
Aladdin - You are seated first, usually in the orchestra area.
All the ones like Muppets would be where the preferred seating is.

I just did Fantasmic VIP seating a few weeks ago, and I arrived probably with 10 minutes or less until the show, and it was fine. It was the later Fantasmic, though, so I don't know if that makes a difference.
