VIP Tour info please

To anyone who has info or experience, I'm very interested in taking the VIP Tour this next vacation. I have read that it's $275/hour with a min of 4 hours. Is this per person? Also, is it something a 7yo would find interesting? Or should I wait a couple years until she is older? What happens on the tour? Any info would be great!

I know WDW has additional services for a higher price. I don't know if Disneyland does.

The information is quite old. There are two VIP tours, one is at $175 hour, the other $275. Both have a minimum of 6 hours. You can have up to 10 people. The guide assists you with plans and FP running. The higher level of VIP gives you some FOTL access to FP rides.
