Has anyone been on this? Thinking about treating DH and DS17 to this when i take DD11, DD10, DD9 to bippity boppity boutique.

Would you say its worth the $199 price tag?

We did this last summer at US in Hollywood and had a totally fabulous day!!! :thumbsup2 The trip to the props warehouse was esp. fantastic and people from the tour got picked to participate in the shows... It's a lot of walking and but all the behind-the-scenes stuff was so interesting...

Didn't realise they did it in Orlando... :goodvibes

Matt and I did it a few years back, but it was cheaper then and, at the time, Annual Passholders received a 50% discount, so it only cost us $50 each. We could have potentially had 10 others with us, but we were the only ones who'd booked for that day, so it really was a VIP tour. The downside of that was that we felt obliged to give our tour guide a hefty tip, although she did protest.

This is the only way to get true FOTL privileges - you're taken through back entrances directly to the rides and attractions, rather than having to join the Express Lines. We did enjoy our day and it was good to see some behind-the-scenes activity, but none of the sound-stages were in use - it would have been nice to have seen some production.

Why Universal? Would they not be interested in one of the WDW backstage tours? Where are you BBBing? MK? What about the Keys To The Kingdom tour? It would be much easier if you were all in the same place.

my hubby is a comic book fanatic and I will be spending loads of time in the MK, my daughter who will be 9 when we go is very small so I think she would miss out at Universal, so I have decided this year not to go to Universal as it wouldn't be fair on her.

The Universal Orlando and Hollywood VIP experiences are totally different. The Orlando one is basically a ticket to both parks with unlimited front of the line ride access, not like the Hollywood one where you tour the prop houses, go on to the closed sets, see the TV show and movie sets etc as well as the front of the line access. I agree though the Hollywood one is fab, we too did this in the summer.

Hi, I think it is just a front of line pass - which depending on the day could be a waste. When we went to U.S everything was walk on (in June) and we had no probs getting on all the rides - IOA was a different story! Queues of over 2 hours for nearly everything so we bought the passes and they were fantastic- cut all the queues and got on every ride we wanted - def had our moneys worth!
