VIP guides

I'm really curious about how this works. If you aren't guaranteed front of the line access, what are you paying for?

A personal tour guide. These services have been offered for years, but at $75 per hour, minimum 4 hours, I doubt they are of interest to many.

In the past, I've seen groups touring (usually at MK) with guides that meet these descriptions. Often times they are foreign groups who have a guide that speaks their language.

The tour guides basically communicate many of the tips and tricks that are posted on these boards. They can also do things like getting PS, recommending touring plans, etc. I guess you could almost think of them as an in-park concierge.

You can read a bit more about it here:

Note that it does specifically state that "Priority entrance to attractions is neither offered nor available."

Disney will often host VIPs (actors, athletes, etc.) who are provided with not only a tour guide but also backstage access to all attractions. There have been posts on these boards in the past from people who caught a glimpse of anyone from Michael Jackson to John Travolta. But the average Joe simply can't negotiate for this type of treatment from WDW.

Thanks for the reply tjkraz:D

It makes sense that a interperter would be handy for forgein guests.
