VIP badges

I'm sure I saw somewhere that you can buy "VIP" badges (like pins but with your names on them) somewhere in MK, and that the CMs make a lot of anyone wearing them. I'd quite like to get a couple for my boys - does anyone know anything about this, cost etc?

You can get them in the Christmas Shop @ Downtown Disney or at a store in MGM (can't remember which one). The one I got in 2003 was a Guest of Honor badge with my name on it - I think you can now get lots of different ones like Villains, Tink etc - if you head over to Laughing Place's store, you'll find them (they are dear to ship, best to wait and get them there). The pins from the laughing place cost alot more than if you got them from Days of Christmas in DTD. They're like $6.00 each + $2.00S/H. You can call and order them too. I ordered 4 of them and it came to $32.00 However, I'm not sure if they have all the new ones yet that Laughingplace does.

Also, the other store that sells them in MGM is the Celebrity 5&10.


If you want the Days of Christmas store can have the badges waiting for you at your hotel for no extra cost. You save the Shipping and handling.

Days of Christmas - 1-407-828-2042. If you dont get through keep calling and leave one message. They have tons of people calling them for these badges.

I phoned yesterday and left a message with my kids names and the type of badge they wanted, now I'm panicking I forgot to leave my name! (I think I did, but....). I did leave my number - do they ring back and confirm (I mentioned I was calling from the UK so hopefully they won't ring at midnight!)

If it all goes pearshaped we'll just buy some at some point, but it would be lovely if they could have them when we arrive
