Violinist at SBP Escape Weddings / STVS Videos

So I realised that all the SBP STVS videos I've seen have music over them for the bridal entrance etc.

Is this something STVS addded over the top later on (at your request?) coz wouldn't the violinist normally be playing at this time??

Or did you girls bring a sound system and have that play the music rather than the violinist?

I'm perhaps thinking specifically of Lynn's and Summer's videos, where I feel sure I have seen a violinist in the photos, but not heard him play in the video.

Can anyone enlighten me or am I imagining things?

Hi Meryll. Stan did it on his own that is why I was glad I recieved the raw footage with my package because there is no added music in the raw footage. If you don't want the added music just tell him and he won't add it it in.

Incidentally, what did your violinist play at various times in the ceremony?
And did you request these songs via your planner?

Yeah I picked my own music. I walked down the aisle to "A dream is a Wich Your Heart Makes". I picked all disney songs.

They have you pick songs for the guests being seated and when your bridal party walks in, when you do the unity candle/sand ceremony, and when you walk back up the aisle after your done getting marrie I forget what I had lisa walk into, I know for the sand ceremony I did "So this is Love" and at the end "under the sea" lol.

Our violinist was so nice. At the cake reception he took requests and played whatever.

Did he play you a first dance song as well?

Do they have a list of songs that you can choose from or if you go for something well known or Disney are you pretty much set?

They have lists of disney songs but you can ask for anything. We did do our first dance..it was I could not ask for more by Edwin Mccain.

This was a complaint I had a few months ago when I was trying to hear violin samples! I wanted to hear what the violin sounded like but there's music dubbed over most of STVS' videos and other companies, too. I think that when I book STVS I'm going to request to take the background music out so that we could hear the violin play.

I spoke with Stan about this...he said that when you're there, the violin sounds great, but because there is no mic etc...you wouldn't hear anything on the video.

He suggested that he can put on whatever the violinist is playing (same song) or anything else...

Our wedding was at sunset point and it was so windy that you couldn't hear the violinist throughout most of the raw footage, so that is why ours is dubbed.

I just got the STVs Dvd today. I remembered something very important today - I cry at weddings. Not sure how much of it was that time of the month, but I was sobbing. I was like this <hiccup> is <sob> so <sniffle> beautiful! I think I'm going to have to work on this Are the brides in it DIS brides?

Back to the point - the violin didn't really bother me, but what did was the castle in the background. They replaced the image with one of the castle without glare and I think it took something out of the wedding. Every few minutes you would see the castle and the same speedboat driving in front of it. And the seasons didn't seem to match. Anyone else see this

Summer is a DISbride (the stylized video).

You pay extra to have the castle digitially done like that, as normally it's tiny and you can hardly see it, but you don't have to have it if you don't want....
