Violent games as a kid

Did you play any of these crazy games?
Squeeze the Lemon (other thread), Crack the Whip, Bloody Knuckles, what else was there? I know there were more sadistic games. Maybe it was a city thing?

Around here, Red Rover got pretty violent, my sister even broke her arm once playing it.

I remember punching each other in the arm til somebody quit. Got bruises from this.

My older sister asked if I wanted to play bloody knuckles. I thought it was a card game like go fish. Duh. Looking back it makes me think she really liked me.

I remember one where you made a rose garden on someone's arm. You started out asking "want me to give you some roses?" The little girl would say yes, then you'd turn their palm up and "plow up the dirt" (smash down really hard along their arm), "plant the seeds" (lots of little pokes), "pick the weeds" (Lots of pinches), then you'd say "look at your roses", since your arm was now BEET red.

Okay, I remember the rose thing but I've never heard of the others.

There was "Pitch up and smear" with a football, and I vaguely recall my older brother playing something where they yelled out "1-2-3 British Bulldog" which was pretty much the same thing, I believe.
