That might help. The mp3 editor I have (mp3trim?) is only good for cleaning up the start and end of the file. What's out there for a free full editor?

Try this one HERE:, it serves me well and does more than just chopping the files.

You'll also need to download this Lame DLL HERE: in order to export out to MP3 again after you modify your file. It'll ask for it the first time you'll export out to MP3.

Copy and paste the lame_enc.dll from the .zip file into your QCD Plugins folder, and it is 3.95!

Thanks. Spring is waaaaay to far away...

However, at this point I’m wondering if you a Free app. Will let you break it in pieces the way you want to. You can always open the same file and just trim it front to back, leaving the needed part for export, then Undo or reopen, etc…

Sorry to be off-topic, but this is what we just gave my DH also, about $90 at BJ's. He loves it but is there a way to record an entire album at a time? He has only figured out how to do it song by song and that is tedious!

OP, I haven't read the whole thread, but this machine comes with the turntable for turning albums into mp3's.

Dh says that u can record the entire album at once. Though he prefers to do it individually. The computer sents it out to I Tunes to get the info on the song
