my 12 year old dd has a few warts on the bottom of her feet. I tried the vinegar and I think it worked!! three of the warts have turned black.
My question is.. once they turn black do we need to continue to put the cotton ball with vinegar on it? How long does it take for them to go away? Will it just dry up and fall off??
Thanks!!

I've never heard of vinegar on warts, but our peditrician had me put duct tape(the gray stuff) on my dd warts on her foot because freezing them in the office wasn't working. A couple of days later the tape came off with the warts stuck to it. not sure if they changed color or not.

Yes..keep putting it on there and in a few days it will dry out and fall off!! I have a whole thread I started about this subject on the budget board. It worked for several people...Who would have known??:goodvibes

i think the methos of removal depends on if its a plantar wart or not. if its a plantar wart its better to use acid, like salicylic acid. at least thats what ive always done.

with regular warts i just use the walmart brand of liquid wart remover. its cheap and effective.

i think it usually takes a couple weeks.
