Vince The ShamWow Guy....

Oh my that was a good one! Wayyyy too much slapping - and he can do it with just one finger so we should all be able to do it with one hand!

Though I still don't think its cheesiness beats my all-time favorite: Alum-alloy. Not many people have seen it, but it was TERRIBLE - they'd just show you the grinding away at the metal and then the melting of the alum alloy forevvvvver, all narrated by the best monotone voice...

Aren't infomercials GREAT? ALL FOR JUST 19.95 - BUT WAIT, CALL NOW AND IT'S ONLY 2 PAYMENTS OF 9.95 - BUT WAIT CALL WITHIN THE NEXT 5 MINUTES AND YOU GET A FREE SHAM-WOW! lol.

Tuna salad = exciting life? WOO HOOOO!!!

Oh me and Patrick have been laughing about this video for about 2 hours now.. there are alot of "that's what she said" lines in there..

Billy Mays seems to sell pretty good stuff. I don't know about this other guy but he sure looks shady.

So funny. I'm laughing out loud. I wonder how many takes it took for him to get through "You're gonna love my nuts" without cracking up. :rotfl:

LOL! I saw the same thing on t.v. yesterday and burst out laughing. DH just shook his head at me. Sometimes, he does not get my humor.:confused3

I saw the commercial for The Bumpies (that sounds so dirty!:lmao: ) the other day and was like "You've GOT to be kidding me, right?". Who do they think is actually going to buy those silly things and worse, who thinks that type of hairdo looks good?:confused3

Sorry. I'll stick with my flat, boring hair thanks.

DS (11YO) and I had a long discussion over who was more annoying.

Vince the creepy Sham-Wow guy with the concert microphone and crazy eyes?

OR

Billy Mays who sells everything under the sun, but is always YELLING AT US!!!

That is a toss up!

This is the Popiel Chop-O-Matic from the mid 50's. Billy Mays took his lessons from Ron Popiel. :rotfl:

I saw the slap chop commercial yesterday and immediately called out for DH because we love the sham wow commercial (this is for the house, the car, the boat, the R.V.) and boy Vince did not disappoint. We were cracking up! "You're gonna be in a great mood all day because you're going to be slapping your troubles away!" And when he tosses the imitation one into the sink :lmao: Oh Vince

Even Veggie -Tales got in with the mix.......http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QkZTuKGJlrE

I thought the Slap Chop looked familiar. They couldn't pick a better name?
That guy gives me the creeps.
What do you expect from a company whose (probably) first product is called ShamWow? ShamWow? It's so fake it deserves emphasis? ;)

"the reason you are going to slap away every day is because it's so easy to clean" omg that sounds SOOOO dirty hahahaha.

I also like the giant egg onion muck he made then proclaimed "breakfast to go!" :rotfl2:
