Well that's just adorable. Whoever made that outfit (you??), did an outstanding job (and it doesn't hurt that she's a cutie pie)!! The magic shot is super. Wish we could've (from both a time and $$ aspect) done two parties too; I just don't want to miss the party to do the Soirée, but I'd love to do both if it sticks around. Thanks for sharing!!

Thanks!! I wish I could sew like that...it would have saved me a ton on outfits for the trip, lol! I had it made for DD by a Facebook/Etsy seller.

I hope the Soiree sticks around and that you are able to do it at some point. It was great! But I also understand not wanting to miss out on the party this time because it's great too.

Can you tell me how much time you spent in the special viewing area from when you arrived for the parade until you left it after the fireworks? We are doing the second seating during our second HP but I still want to have an idea about how much time we will be in there during the party.

I love your daughter's outfit too. Would you mind sharing the name of the etsy seller you ordered it from? You can PM it if you are not comfortable sending it to me here....

I'd say we walked into the viewing area a little before 8 PM and left a little before 10 PM (by the time the crowds cleared enough for them to lead us over to the castle).

I'd be happy to PM you the name of the seller.

Went to the soirée last night (early seating) and it was an absolute blast!!! We thought it was totally worth it and would do it again in a heartbeat. I originally wanted the late seating but couldn't get it. Found out last night that the late seating was for the bloggers! Anyway, the early seating worked out well for us- we were still able to do everything we wanted. I will post more details when I have a chance ( still here on vacay!) but let me know if you have any specific questions. Thanks to all on here who helped me make the decision to attend- sooooo much fun!

I know they had a disney parks blog meetup during the late soiree. I don't think it was only for bloggers though.

I don't think it was restricted but non-blog people like us (LOL) couldn't get a reservation. I was trying like crazy to get my time switched when they added late seating to no avail. But it worked out!

In case someone misunderstood, the later soiree' and your date only was reserved for the Disney Park Blog. They do this several times a year. You ( an entrant to the contest ) have to be pretty quick signing up and hoping you " win ".

The blog recently had a contest for dogs and their owners to spend a few early morning hours at MK. When the bowling alley " Splitsville " opened in DTD there was a contest to attend. That's the ones I can remember off of the top of my head. Just want to highlight that in case someone thinks all the late night soiree's are not for the " common " man/woman

My son received the cup but no desserts. Honestly, it would have been a terrible waste if they had brought him a dessert plate. He was happy just munching off of ours.
