Villians Sinister Soirée

interesting observation but I'm not sure the concept of tipping point as to prices is in Disney's vocabulary.;) Had to laugh when I saw the $90 something vs breaking the $100 price point, standard marketing technique.
.

Off topic question, but your wording caught my eye. Should I bring cash to tip our table server at this event? or is tipping not necessary?

Re the included gratuity - is anybody else curious exactly how much, either flat amount pp or a %. Would bet not near 18% of $99

REVIEWS:
First MNSSHP! thread has reports
Do you have a link to this thread? I found a thread titled "MNSSHP 2014 Official Thread", but I didn't see any Soiree reviews in that thread.

I skimmed through this thread and the Sinister Soiree Questions thread and came up with five different reviews of the first Soiree (PrincessJen09, wdwinfo, mywdwnet, WDW News Today, and donnamk123). Does anyone else recall seeing any other reviews? Hopefully more reviews will pop up with each MNSSHP!

Kenny the Pirate will be at the Soirée on the 12th. I'm sure he'll be reviewing it as quickly as possible. He's already posted that the Hub viewing for fireworks is too close to the Castle.

So have a number of us. ;)

In all seriousness though, that is a review I will look at closely. (Not that I'm going either way.)

I can't wait to see the kennythepirate review too, but I am so excited we have a sister going tonight. What time are you guys headed to the MK and are you dressing up?

:) Headed to MK as soon as the kiddos wake up. We aren't dressing up per se, but the kids have custom "Villains Rule" outfits with all the Villains on them (soooo cute!), and DH and I are wearing all black and white. I know, I know...not all that creative. But it's only Sept 9th, so we weren't ready for full on costumes, lol.

So are we going to have to wait until tomorrow for an update or not until you get home.
Hope you have a blast! My soiree date isn't until 10/38, so I have to live thru everyone se until then. I am attending MNSSHP again on 10/30, so excited!!!!

I will try to update quickly tomorrow (we have a pool afternoon scheduled so I can update then). But I might not have pics until we get home depending on if I am able to find time to upload a few. :)

Huh. I could have sworn Kenny said something in the beginning about not being interested in something like this. Guess he changed his mind.

They'll charge as high as they can until they can't sell whatever it is. If they can't sell it they'll either discount it or discontinue it.

In his Blog, Kenny has posted that an anonymous person is kindly sponsoring him to attend the Soirée! I'm looking forward to his review.

Or cut back until it's profitable. Like they are doing with the Food and Wine special event. I guess they didn't get enough bookings so they are canceling the Tuesday night events.

Hold on were in for a bumpy ride ... :-)

How's this? (In my best Bette Davis voice......)

"Fasten your seatbelts. It's going to be a bumpy night."

I'm glad someone sponsored KTP. I look forward to his report.
