I do wish that Disney had a character meal with the villians. Is there anybody else who feels that they or their children/families would enjoy this?

That could be fun, and they could make it like that one resturant (I think in Fl.) where everyone is mean to the customers. You know the place I am talking about? Gosh I can't think of the name.

I think it would be grand. Like a Magic Time Machine??? maybe?

I wish whole-heartedly that Disney would do this.

Disney did have a character meal with the Villains several years ago. I believe that it was at the 1900 Park Fare restaurant in the Grand Floridian. Don't know why they discontinued it. The villains are always my favorites.

This was our FAVORITE character meal of all time, and I am bummed that they ended it. The reason given was that it scared some of the children, and that the parents didn't know the characters would be villains.

The Villians dinner was at the Grand Floridian, 1900 Park Faire. My two teen DD had dinner there, while DH & I and my youngest DD had dinner at Wilderness Lodge!
The girls had a blast - Captain Hook was great!! My older DD had just graduated from high school, and Captain Hook even "turned her ring"!! They said the food was pretty good - but the characters really made the meal!!! They ask all the time if Disney ever put the Villian meal back!

Disney did try this dinner, it was quite popular with adults and older children. Not as popular with little children who make up the majority of character meal attendences. Lots of crying little ones and lots of complaints.

Yes adults like the villians, thier mean spirited and this did not go over too well with small children. This is suppose to be the Happiest Place in the World. Disney likes laughter, little ones were not laughing. They were terrified. So away with the villians and bring on more princesses.

We loved this character meal. 1900 Park Fare is one of our favorite places to eat. It was back in 2000 I think that it was the Villians and my kids loved it. They weren't little when we went, but they weren't teen either. I do know that when we booked our ADR's they told us it was the villians, so we knew what to expect. Wish that they would bring them back, because you really don't get to see them in the parks much either. :maleficen

By around age 5 kids are no longer scared of the villians, so it seems to me like they should have a meal like this one available and just give it a PG-6 (not recommended for children under 6) rating. My kids are 9 and 10 and they aren't at all interested in character dining experiences because they have long outgrew mickey, pooh, princesses, etc. I bet they (and most older kids) would love this experience though. There's so much more entertainment potential with the bad guys than there is with the princesses and poohs.

I think MGM would be the most suitable place for this character dining experience as many parents find MGM to be too "old" for their smaller children. Park Fare was not a good spot because the outer ambiance attracted families in general. I would not think GF to be a suitable spot for villians myself.
