Villas @ The Wilderness Lodge...room ?'s

it might be a bit early but...Must start packing!
DW told me while sipping a cold one @ Luna Cove (pool side) Sat.
she wants to go Aug. and stay @ VWL. What rooms do you
prefer? Also, how's their pool slide?

We just stayed in a 2BR with a pool and lake view.... 4507. It was a great room.

We had the very last studio on 4th floor facing lake...could see the Elec. Light if we squinted.

Our family got a kick out of the long walk down the hallway (all thought it resembled the hotel in The Shining - here's Johnny!).

Can't wait to go back in October.

Ask for pool/lake view on 4th floor.

The vast majority of view at the VWL are woods views. Only a very small portion view the lake and quiet pool. An equal number face the walkway between the Villas and the WL. An even smaller number face the WL itself. The rest face the woods. We faced the woods once and the WL once. Both were fine.

The pool slide is OK, but not as big or fast as Scary Clown slide. I like the hot tub at the WL and I also really like the pool bar. The quiet pool is also nice with bubbling water and a small hot tub.
