Villas close to international drive area.

Was about to book a villa for orlando next year as I was told it was 4 miles from international drive, but fortuantely for myself I discovered that it was about 20 miles away and I had been lied to.

My query is, what villa developments are close to the international drive area.

I don't think there are any really close. I think due to zoning laws only properties in kissimee and davenport can be short term let hence most of the villa's are there.

At the south end of I drive there are alot of condo developments so you could have a 1 or 2 bed apartment.

For a true villa you need to go further away.

I know when i rented a villa i found a map with all the locations on. I can't recall the site - hopefully someone else will know.

My next question is, what development has everyone stayed in.

I am getting good prices for Indian Ridge. Has anyone stayed there before. Why is it cheaper than other areas?
