I am staying at the Sheraton Vistana from 27th June to July 11th. There are only two of us going, although the timeshare is for 6+ people.

We called up and asked to be put in the Cascades section (the newer part of the resort) - they said there are only a few two bedroomed apartments in Cascades, but could give us a one bedroomed villa (the smaller of which are 477 Sq Feet Vs 1000+ for the two bedroomed throughout the resort).

From those who have been would you recommend we request the smaller Cascades or a bigger villa in another part of the resort?

Thanks.

I stay there all the time. In fact, I stayed there for 4 days last week during our 10 day trip (4 days at Vistana Cascades and 5 at Wilderness Lodge Concierge).

Since there are only 2 of you I would recommend the Cascades one bedroom. The rooms are still in great shape. That part of the resort is much nicer. You have a great pool, a general store and a sports bar (Zimmies) very close.

If there were four of you then I would go to another part of the resort. The pull out sofa beds in all the one bedrooms are terrible. The matresses are thin and virtually impossible to sleep on.

Have a great trip!

We liked the Lakes section. The two bedroom units are beautiful, and very spacious. Haven't stayed in the Cascades, so I can't compare, but I can't imagine anyone being disappointed with the Lakes section.
