Villains sinister soiree 2015?

Every Halloween party I've been to and I've done 2 a year since 2000 the front of the park is packed! Especially now that jack and Sally and other characters have met up in front ..it changes year to year and the photo spit is in the center.

I will also gladly pay for certain convinces on vacation. DP,dessert parties,tours,soirée. club level maybe not all in one trip but I will pay for things like that. We enjoy them.

I had success with this for the two holiday parades last year without a doubt - I even wondered why no one comes over here?

Your right maybe it's the second parade but it was still packed out

As long as there are people willing to throw money at things like this, Disney will keep its hand outstretched. This is one event I will never do that Ive added to the list which includes the new Wished Dessert Party prices. Its not that I dont want to do it or couldnt afford it, its that I choose not to be a part of the ever greedy hand of Disney catering to the elite with money. When that hour or so is over and the fireworks are no more and the parade floats are back in the warehouse...I've still got $500 in my pocket and I saw the same fireworks and parade everyone else did. I'm not a character person either so that plays into it. But I wouldn't pay $500 to go on a date with Mickey Mouse, let alone see Maleficient (and Maleficent is my fav character btw).

I wouldn't say that everyone at our VSS was "elite". Not by a long shot. There were families there from all walks of life. We spoke to quite a few people around us, and everyone was having a great time and was pleased to be offered the opportunity to do something different than they had done in previous years.

We walked away with a lot of great, and personalized, parting gifts. The event was well worth the money.

Just as a side question, does anyone think it is possible that the only reason this event came to fruition was because of the debacle that Villains Unleashed turned out to be, and it was only offered as sort of a conciliation for that awful mess of an event? Is that maybe why they won't repeat this event? I will be interested to see if they attempt VU again in August, and if they do, if they announce a VSS shortly after again. I would REALLY like to do this experience again.
